Job overview and responsibilities

Responsible for providing technical advice and guidance to IT users, employing a high degree of customer service, technical expertise, incident resolution, and timeliness. Provide support for user identified errors and system alarms and alerts; route and restore technical service and equipment incidents by analyzing, identifying, and diagnosing faults and symptoms using established processes and procedures. Escalate issues as necessary; maintain frequent interaction with all types of end-user customers; must be effective in interpersonal communications and problem solving. Follow through with resolution using documentation provided by infrastructure, application, and development groups. Submit changes to the knowledge database.   • Provides technical communication to customer or authorized caller about quick fixes

  • Sales incentives administration & governance – Produces monthly reporting to sales teams and leadership on goal and incentive performance.  Calculates semi-annual payouts and produces compensation statements.  Owns the process for considering exception requests and makes sure all stakeholders follow the process.
  • Launch and manage effective MBO elements. Communicate performance details with account management and leadership. Work cross-functionally with BI/IKC teams to implement actions, territory plans, and training material to increase share and revenue performance.

Job overview and responsibilities

Ensures the successful administration of United’s Aviation Safety Action Programs.   • Focal point for the administration of United’s various ASAP programs to include, but not limited to, the following: Event Review Committee (ERC) meetings; planning, scheduling, facilitation and support
  • Coordinates follow-up investigations, ERC risk analysis, and trending of safety data in support of the ERC
  • Assist ERC in development, issuance, review, tracking and closure of Hazard Identification forms as required by United’s Safety Management System (SMS)
  • Supports United’s SMS by providing Safety Assurance data and trend analyses to identify hazards in safety reporting data
  • Facilitates annual ERC review of the safety reporting database to ensure effectiveness of ERC corrective actions
  • Supports the collection, investigation and response to submitted reports identifying non-compliance and non-conformance discrepancies related to United’s operations and assures all pertinent information is available to the ERC to take appropriate corrective action
  • Primary responsibility for database management for the ASAP programs
  • Apply and maintain proper taxonomy set for hazards, threats and errors (as applicable) in the designated safety reporting system
  • Maintains liaison with company divisional and local management, unions and government organizations (FAA, as appropriate) regarding inclusion of reports into United’s Safety Systems’ databases
  • Co-author, post and revise content on Corporate Safety and divisional ASAP websites

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical, safety, or aviation-related discipline and/or equivalent level of work experience

  • Utilize DLP products to maintain email, desktop, and network monitoring policies
  • Assist with development, deployment, and support of Data Protection solutions
  • Support senior analysts in collaborating closely with partners across the organization to identify data loss concerns for which DLP policies can be defined
  • Pull data and support reporting to enhance understanding of DLP Program development and maturity
  • Assist with Data Discovery by scanning, quarantining and purging unnecesary data from Network Shares, SharePoint Sites and Cloud Storage
  • Assist with Data Classification & Tagging efforts

Required

  • BS or BA degree (preferably in computer science, security, or IT) or any combination of equivalent education, experience, and formal training that allows the candidate to meet the requirements of the job
  • Experience with Data Loss Prevention Tools or other Enterprise Scanning tools, including policy tuning and documenting procedures and processes
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for DLP program and governance processes
  • Knowledge of Cloud technology such as AWS, CASB, O365, SharePoint
  • Experience with whitelisting or blacklisting processes, devices, e-mail accounts
  • Collaborating diplomatically with various stakeholders such as CIOs, Privacy Officers, and security teams in a large Enterprise environment
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, including knowledge of regulatoy compliance
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptionally self-motivated, directed, and detail oriented
  • Must be able to learn, understand and apply new technologies
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience in a rapid paced, time sensitive, high quality environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
