Job overview and responsibilities
The Senior Analyst, Demand Generation & Personalization will provide support for digital products and initiatives that drive a simplified, intuitive, and personalized journey for United’s customers across digital channels. The Senior Analyst will execute personalized, machine-learning, data-driven, scalable initiatives in support of our goals for driving customer engagement and incrementality. The Senior Analyst will execute key aspects of projects and programs that will help expand United’s personalization capabilities including ongoing promotional effort as well as expanding our the technology of our couponing tool to be more robust in conjunction with our digital channels. They will also be able to lead, test, and implement the calendar of promos set by the strategy of the larger team, and they will bring personalization initiatives to life to increase active customer engagement, decrease churn, and re-engage inactive customers. The Senior Analyst should be comfortable working within and coordinating across multiple disciplines and priorities, and will work with cross-functional teams including Technology, UX, Creative, Digital Products, Analytics, Revenue Management and more. The Senior Analyst should be familiar with data analytics and machine learning, and will apply analytical and customer insights to inform business requirements and continuously improve customer experiences. This individual will be customer-centric and innovative with a passion for all things digital, and will act as an advocate for personalized experiences across the United digital experience.
- Executes key aspects of projects and programs by supporting the entire digital product lifecycle by working directly with our IT partners to design enhancements and identify bugs related to how customers promotions’ interact with our digital channels. In doing so, leveraging data to ensure product features are aligned with objectives, working with user experience (UX) to ensure prototypes encapsulate story intent, working with development (IT) and testing (QA) teams to understand the boundaries of a user story, while also contributing to the overall definition of strategy and scope, including working with business stakeholders to understand the goals, and identifying and sharing opportunities for improvement across product and process.
- Collaborates with our data analytics team to report on campaign KPIs and learnings; packages those insights into conclusions and organizes as a story in a slide deck to present to both internal and external teams
- Actively seeks new opportunities and process improvements to the challenges of promo execution and suggests future enhancements
- Implements programs that strengthen lifetime value, enhance the digital customer journey, and provide significant opportunities for marketing and engagement
