    Job Summary

    The Analyst II, Aircraft Configuration Management is responsible for maintaining Engineering and Manufacturing files, data, documents and records under minimal supervision.  Performs configuration verification audits and maintains product structure definition, conducts analysis on the maintenance of aircraft mask and logical subgroups in the MIS (TRAX), procedures and policies for operational efficiency and performance. Identifies the data elements for configuration status accounting and reporting, identifies and deploys tools to support data collection and reporting.  An essential aspect of the role is the implementation, configuration control and use-training of suitable methods, tools and processes.

    Responsibilities

    • Drives implementation of Configuration and Data Management standards, processes, systems and tools.
    • Assists department administrators, supervisors and managers in preparing and organizing various task, projects, and reports.
    • Coordinate requests from Production, Engineering, and other groups for configuration change.
    • Performs various duties and activities required to support functions and objectives of Engineering and Manufacturing departments.
    • Performs data entry in a P.C. and/ or mainframe system; analyze and support aircraft configuration management optimization.
    • Researches various sources to obtain and verify information.
    • Responsible for the maintenance and improvement of the Part Number Form (PNXF) for efficient updating of TRAX for part number effectiveness and controls.
    • Analyze and support development of configuration changes for new fleet inductions.
    • Analyze and oversee the aircraft configuration program to ensure currency with all mandated requirements.
    • Analyze and review configurations to minimize costs while maintaining configuration control and compliance to aircraft Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) requirements.
    • Maintain aircraft structure to ensure improvement on maintenance efficiency and component tracking.
    • Approve component/part interchangeability and effectiveness to assure compliance with type certificate.
    • Conduct system audits to ensure compliance to configuration requirements.
    • Ensure projects are on track and provide regular updates on commitments made to customers.
    • Stay informed on all issues/projects related to aircraft configuration management.
    • Conduct all necessary component research to ensure accurate and timely configuration updates.
    • Participates in the demand-forecast and assignment-planning process in collaboration with the Aircraft Configuration Management Supervisor.
    • Assist in providing after hours support to Technical Operations, when workload dictates. Spirit Airlines operates 24 hours a day. Technical Operations is always staffed during the day and night.

    • Proficient in department systems and programs to acquire information or troubleshoot issues
    • Analytical skills to process large amounts of data with a strong ability to analyze data and present recommendations across the Tech Ops Organization.
    • Proficient with data mining and complex analysis in order to propose recommendations for tasks in the Spirit Aircraft Configuration Management and Reliability Programs.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office software, especially Microsoft Excel (Excel, Word, Power Point)
    • Knowledge of TRAX software application to substantiate program evolutions and optimization

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels within the organization, as well as with external agencies (e.g. FAA)
    • Strong capability to accurately explain data sets and maintenance program information at a level all functional organizations can understand

    The Senior Analyst of Email Marketing will be responsible for building, segmenting, deploying and reporting of all email campaigns. We are looking for a well-rounded individual to work alongside our strategy, creative, technical, and account teams to develop and automate customer touch-points. This role requires excellent copy-writing, editing, and communication skills in addition to knowledge of CAN-SPAM and HTML.

    • Support operational and revenue goals, maintain the monthly email calendar and identify ways to increase email engagement.
    • Manages the planning, development and execution of promotional and transactional campaigns, including. brand messaging, segmented and triggered campaigns. Refines strategies based upon market changes, test results and findings.
