    • Demonstrated program experience in the configuration management process must include configuration identification, control, audit, and status; configuration management policies, procedures, review cycles, instructions and standards; engineering change proposal evaluations.
    • Knowledge of Configuration Management tasks and tools.
    • Understanding of organizational Policies and Procedures development and oversight for publication of updated policies and procedures.
    • Work Independently and be thorough with all assigned work.
    • Proficient in department systems and programs to acquire information or troubleshoot issues
    • Analytical skills to process large amounts of data with a strong ability to analyze data and present recommendations across the Tech Ops Organization.
    • Proficient with data mining and complex analysis in order to propose recommendations for tasks in the Silver Aircraft Configuration Management and Reliability Programs.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office software, especially Microsoft Excel (Excel, Word, Power Point)
    • Knowledge of TRAX software application to substantiate program evolutions and optimization
    • Written Communication/Documentation
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels within the organization, as well as with external agencies (e.g., FAA)
    • Strong capability to accurately explain data sets and maintenance program information at a level all functional organizations can understand
    • Strong understanding of the need for communication in projects so that customers are regularly provided with updates on commitments
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Excellent time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
    • A high attention to detail and highest regard for data quality and accuracy.
    • Ability to independently generate presentations regarding maintenance station performance status, and present them to senior management

    Qualifications and Education Requirements

    • Must have a High School Diploma or GED required.
    • Working knowledge and understanding of IPC, Maintenance Programs, Bridging

Minimum Requirements

  • The Flight Operations Administrative Specialist reports to the Director of Flight Operations Training.

    Specific Responsibilities include:

    • Maintenance of all training records.
    • Make notifications of training due to crewmembers.
    • Coordinate with Crew Scheduling and Dispatch regarding the qualification and status of crewmembers in training.
    • Provide a three (3) month forecast of training and expiries due by the 20th of the month to the following:

    a. VP Operations;

    b. Director of Flight Operations Training.

    c. VP, Flight Operations;

    d. The Chief Pilot; and

    e. Director of InFlight

    • Provide crew scheduling and dispatch with qualifications and high minimums notifications.
    • Maintenance of issued copy of training program.
    • Preparation and advance forwarding of training folders for all training activities.
    • Assist the training scheduling coordinator with any duties and responsibilities assigned or requested.
    • Assist the PRIA coordinator with any PRIA related functions, as requested.
    • Implementation and coordination of any new or revised record keeping system and related functions.
    • Preparation and advance forwarding of training folders for all training activities.
    • Manage the PRIA Program and related functions and communications related to Training Records (exclusive of HR / Drugs and Alcohol Functions).
    • Assist the Manager of Training, or other Flight Operations Administrative Specialists with special projects and other assigned duties.
    • Other duties or assignments as directed by the Director of Flight Operations Training.
    • This position is not an FAA required position under FAR 119.

    Education, Skills and Other

    • Must have a college degree or comparable operations experience
    • Minimum of 3 years aviation experience required
    • Must be proficient with computer systems including Navblue, Sabre, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
    • Must be able to pass a Drug and Alcohol Screen as well as FBI Fingerprint & Criminal History Background Check
    • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship
