    • Communicate with flight crews, maintenance control, and other maintenance personnel to ensure notification of all maintenance discrepancies are initiated and corrected in a timely manner
    • Manage all aircraft maintenance activities or any other maintenance functions assigned to him to ensure all maintenance is performed in accordance with Company and regulatory requirements
    • The Manager must control the flow and accuracy of all paperwork and records on the aircraft that are in the work process
    • Maintain a shift log of activities and irregularities, Maintenance Control Summary, and the complete and accurate entries on the summary
    • Establish work schedules which will be adequate to meet the required production schedules
    • Coordinate with Planning and Quality Control as necessary
    • Conserve and protect Company funds, property, equipment and materials by following the budget guidelines
    • Determine and ensure the facility and all equipment/tooling is kept clean and in serviceable condition at all times
    • Lead and facilitate the physical organization and storage of inventory
    • Assume management responsibilities in connection with affectively recommending, hiring and firing of employees, promotions, and disciplining assigned personnel
    • Notify the DOM and DQC of any occurrence that is out of the normal operation and conducts other duties as assigned.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills
    • Computer knowledge and abilities to include Data entry, knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point, TRAX, and SABRE systems

    Education and Experience:

    • Possess a valid Airframe and Power plant FAA Airman’s Certificate and a basic knowledge of Saab 340 or similar aircraft
    • Minimum 3 Years Supervisory experience

    Requirements:

    • Reports to Vice President of Maintenance
    • Make necessary purchase recommendations to the AOG Desk Buyers and VP of Tech Ops and Stores
    • Monitor, track, and ensure all warranty due the company is collected and processed accordingly in the TRAX system
    • Place orders as expressly instructed by the VP of Tech Ops
    • Maintain good housekeeping procedures in all areas assigned
    • Perform all other tasks assigned by the VP of Tech Ops
    • Identify and report possible safety risks to a member of Management.

    Qualifications:

    • High School graduate or equivalent required
    • Data entry and PC knowledge. Microsoft Word and Excel skills. Knowledge of a computerized inventory tracking system Excellent
