To accomplish this, a Revenue Management & Analytics Analyst needs to be a subject matter expert in both pricing and inventory management to make sure Silver fills the most seats on each individual flight at the highest average fare possible.

    As a Revenue Management & Analytics Analyst, you will be assigned a group of markets from Silver’s network and you job will be to review and adjust the forecast created by Silver’s Revenue Management system making sure it creates a proper optimization that sells each seat at an optimal price point which maximizes flight revenue. You will be able to use inventory controls to adjust demand for flights that are deviating from the forecast.


    -Extract, organize and manipulate data sets to regularly analyze competitive landscape, devise strategies, identify opportunities and evaluate results

    -Monitor KPI performance, adjusting and communicating strategies needed to meet targets and goals

    -Produce charts, tables, and graphs to support the revenue management team and commercial group

    -Utilize reporting tools to study historical data and forward bookings to build strategies that help improve passenger forecast for assigned markets

    -Closely monitor passenger booking trends and anticipate the effect of news, special events, holidays, seasonal peaks, to protect seat inventory

    -Incorporate market changes to demand through demand influences and business rules using Silver’s Revenue Management system

    -Maximize Revenue through inventory controls making sure seats are priced competitive

    -Manage group demand, create group rates, and provide recommendations to enhance group booking policies

    -Develop direct channels to key market stakeholders (airport team, chamber of commerce, airport directors, etc.) to seek information edge on developments that could impact the assigned markets

    Experience and Qualifications

    -Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Business, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, or related field

    -Experience in relevant revenue management roles using revenue management systems (a plus)

    -Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong attention to detail

    -Data driven person with demonstrate analytical reasoning with the ability to tackle complex problems

    -Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Word

    -Programming and/or statistical languages (SQL, R, Python, Tableau) (a plus)

    -Ability to work cross-functionally, collaboratively and under pressure

    -Must be legally eligible to work in the United States of America, in which the position is located
