    • Directs human resource functions in contributing to the Company’s continued growth, driving bottom line results, enhancing productivity and further developing its employees.
    • Develops and implements human resource programs, policies, and procedures that help managers and supervisors achieve operational goals.  Maintains good communication and a positive relationship with associates to promote associate satisfaction.
    • Monitors the status of all human resource processes and analyzes statistical data; recommends alternative solutions based on review of the data.
    • Develops effective business relationships both internally and externally that will further the Company’s goals.  Manages relationships with vendor partners while aligning with organization’s key objectives to reduce costs.
    • Ensures all departments are in compliance with federal and state employment laws.  Monitors compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.  Tracks laws and regulations that might affect the organization’s policies and implements necessary changes.
    • Conducts associate investigations to determine root causes of problems, works with managers to ensure issues are resolved and advises managers in disciplinary actions and/or terminations.
    • Conducts research and analysis concerning issues and problems related to human resources management; recommends or initiates programs or actions to resolve problems and enhance customer service.
    • Evaluates business initiatives to determine appropriate organizational effectiveness interventions needed to meet organizational goals, focusing on Company value and propositions.
    • Develops strong, constructive working relationships with labor union representatives.
    • Fosters the Company’s core values and culture throughout the work environment.
    • Screens, interviews and makes recommendations for hiring potential associates.  Coaches and provides leadership, direction, motivation and supervision of direct reports.  Appraises performance, provides performance feedback, takes corrective actions and oversees training and development of staff.
    • Develops and manages the departmental budget.

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE.

    • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. / B.S.) in Human Resources or related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • At least 8 years of progressively responsible experience in Human Resources and recruitment with at least 5 years of supervisory or management experience.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

    PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    Airline experience.  Certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).

    LANGUAGE SKILLS

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents.  Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.  Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

    Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

    • Providing innovative vision, effective planning, and strategic thinking for short- and long-term initiatives across Republic Airways with a focus around technology
    • Development and continued refinement of the Republic Airways three-year technology strategic plans, in partnership with senior leadership including overseeing quarterly strategy & operations review process (Technology Steering Committee) among various department executives
    • Leading long-range strategic planning to anticipate an innovative organizational change necessary to help ensure institutional effectiveness and maintain agility during a time of rapid growth and change. This includes creating a strategic framework to “operationalize” changes to ensure seamless execution and adoption
    • Will have oversight to the Republic Airways IT Project Management Office. The candidate will lead and manage a team of project/program managers, business analysts, and external contractors to ensure continued high performance while also ensuring a positive, flexible, and nimble culture
    • Leading IT and business teams to drive technical delivery through the organization based on an agile mindset. Experience with Scrum framework, DevOps, and Continuous Delivery of practices and automation is required
    • Building collaborative engagements with stakeholders across the enterprise at every level
    • Coordinating, collecting, and preparing materials, as needed, for executive leadership communications, including but not limited to status reporting, KPIs, and portfolio planning
    • Close collaboration with delivery teams and organizations to support the alignment of current processes to actual in-the-field delivery definitions and processes
    • Leading large scale change initiative to adopt a best-in-class delivery methodology

    • Strong leader with demonstrated change management skills, integrity, and business acumen
    • Knowledge of Agile methodologies, tools, and techniques.
