Responsibilities

Position Summary

As a Simulator Instructor, you will have a direct impact on PSA Airlines’ growth by working with the Check Airman Supervisor and Flight Training Administration, ensuring that early stage training for pilots is scheduled, progressing well, and records retained properly. You will also help the Director of Training and Manager of Simulator Training and Standards ensure departmental goals and policies and procedures are up to date. You will not be line qualified or on the PSA Pilot Seniority list in this position.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide early stage Flight Instruction in a Full Flight Simulator as well as occasional ground instruction
• Instruct Initial, Upgrading and Transitioning PSA Pilots.
• Adhere to Company Standard Operating Procedures.
• Completion of Student Training Records
• Developmental duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required

• Eligible for CL-65 PIC Type Rating
• Holds Airline Transport Pilot License
• Good communication skills
• 121 instructor experience recommended
• Previous 121 check airmen preferred
• If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the US
• Must be able to read, write and speak in English

Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Ground Training Instructor is responsible training pilots and OCC personnel as assigned by the MGR- Ground Training. The Ground Training Instructor will conduct initial, recurrent, and basic indoctrination.

Job Responsibilities

• Planning and efficient scheduling of all Ground Instruction activities.
• Developing printed and/or electronic course ware and revising training documents as needed.
• Responsible for course-ware development and course content.
• Teaching any new curriculum as required to meet the changing training needs of PSA.
• Ensures all ground training meets regulatory compliance standards and is properly documented in accordance with the PSA Training Manual.
• Provides a point of communication for students before and during Ground Training.
• Effectively and positively resolves issues related to hotel, travel, dress code, behavior, etc.
• Monitor student progress and intervene with additional training or counseling when needed.
• Responsible for making final determination regarding student performance and recommendation for simulator training.
• Responsible for maintaining operational effectiveness of IPTs, FTDs, iPads, and VSIM.
• Ensures new hire pilots/dispatchers have completed required time verifications, meet company minimums, and properly prepare paperwork necessary for all evaluations.
• Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department and company.

Qualifications

Required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience as a flight instructor-simulator and/or airplane

• If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the US.

Preferred
• PSA pilot experience

• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree

• PSA dispatcher experience

As the Inflight Training Specialist, you will impact PSA Airlines’ operations through you responsibility to the accuracy of all FAA approved Flight Attendant Training Programs. In effectively delivering these programs to PSA Flight Attendants through instruction, you will ensure this crew is prepared to provide safe and excellent service to customers.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver, and maintain currency and accuracy of all FAA-approved Flight Attendant Training Programs.
• Provide subject matter expertise in all areas of Inflight Services Policies and Procedures; serve as a resource for Flight Attendants.
• Serve as a role model and mentor to Flight Attendants in performance, behavior, appearance and demeanor.
• Evaluate and coach Flight Attendant trainees to ensure performance standards are met.
• Maintain Flight Attendant qualification on all A/C types in PSA fleet.
• Maintain training facilities and equipment in good order.
• Complete administrative duties in a timely and accurate manner.
• Support the Manager of Inflight Training in achievement of Departmental and Corporate goals.
• Be an effective liaison between Inflight Training and other departments.
• Positively represent yourself as an ambassador for PSA Airlines.
• Complete all other projects and responsibilities as assigned by the Manager of Inflight Training.

Qualifications

Required
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Six months Flight Attendant experience or related industry experience
• Thorough knowledge of PSA Inflight Policies and Procedures
• Experience teaching adults in a classroom setting
• Experience in Courseware Development, knowledge of video production, experienced performance evaluator and coach, and reside in domicile where training is being conducted, non-commuter

• If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Ground Training Instructor is responsible training pilots and OCC personnel as assigned by the MGR- Ground Training. The Ground Training Instructor will conduct initial, recurrent, and basic indoctrination.

Job Responsibilities

• Planning and efficient scheduling of all Ground Instruction activities.
• Developing printed and/or electronic course ware and revising training documents as needed.
• Responsible for course-ware development and course content.
• Teaching any new curriculum as required to meet the changing training needs of PSA.
• Ensures all ground training meets regulatory compliance standards and is properly documented in accordance with the PSA Training Manual.
• Provides a point of communication for students before and during Ground Training.
• Effectively and positively resolves issues related to hotel, travel, dress code, behavior, etc.
• Monitor student progress and intervene with additional training or counseling when needed.
• Responsible for making final determination regarding student performance and recommendation for simulator training.
• Responsible for maintaining operational effectiveness of IPTs, FTDs, iPads, and VSIM.
• Ensures new hire pilots/dispatchers have completed required time verifications, meet company minimums, and properly prepare paperwork necessary for all evaluations.
• Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department and company.

Qualifications

Required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience as a flight instructor-simulator and/or airplane

• 1-2 years of experience as a FAR 121 dispatcher

• If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the US.

Preferred
• PSA pilot experience

• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree

• PSA dispatcher experience

• Adult learning classroom instructor experience

Position Summary

As a Simulator Instructor, you will have a direct impact on PSA Airlines’ growth by working with the Check Airman Supervisor and Flight Training Administration, ensuring that early stage training for pilots is scheduled, progressing well, and records retained properly. You will also help the Director of Training and Manager of Simulator Training and Standards ensure departmental goals and policies and procedures are up to date. You will not be line qualified or on the PSA Pilot Seniority list in this position.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide early stage Flight Instruction in a Full Flight Simulator as well as occasional ground instruction
• Instruct Initial, Upgrading and Transitioning PSA Pilots.
• Adhere to Company Standard Operating Procedures.
• Completion of Student Training Records

Required

• Eligible for CL-65 PIC Type Rating
• Holds Airline Transport Pilot License
• Good communication skills
• 121 instructor experience recommended
• Previous 121 check airmen preferred
