    • Develop and draft press releases for the Company.
    • Provide guidance to executives with regard to story lines and key strategies with top-tier press and analysts

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in public relations, communications, journalism or related field or equivalent experience required.
  • Three (3) or more years of corporate communication experience.
  • Experience in the airline industry preferred.
  • The role requires a creative individual who will be very hands-on with developing marketing and PR strategy.
  • Experience working in a highly matrixed environment, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and mentor staff, including those that may have a dotted reporting relationship into the business unit and the corporate function.
  • Experience working with and/or advising a public or private Board of Directors and executive management.

    • Reviews all Service Bulletins and other technical data from the OEM and vendors for revisions to current modification programs in work, to ensure the most current documentation is used.

    • Responsible for analyzing and monitoring rotable and expendable inventory levels, including consignment inventory.
    • Manage four to five Inventory Control and Analysis personnel.

    • Act as SME during the implementation of new maintenance software (Maintenix) ensuring adherence to internal controls and processes
    • Work closely with internal and external auditors to ensure internal controls are designed and operating effectively.
    • Provide management with accurate and timely financial information including analytics and metrics necessary to enable informed, astute, and strategic business decisions.
    • Assist Finance Department with company-wide compliance with SOX 404.
    • Drive system enhancements and process improvements in inventory accounting.
    • Maintain inventory control KPIs and FAA reporting i.e. NFF, rogue parts, CID
    • Maintain and provide supporting evidence related to internal controls
    • Work closely with Engineering and Maintenance to support Airworthiness Directives parts requirements or any other FAA or vendor initiatives that involve allocation of parts.
    • Attend IRB and CASS meetings and any other operational daily, weekly monthly, or recurring meetings

    Requirements

    • Supply Chain or Aviation materials management experience 5-7 years
    • Excel skills, with the ability to efficiently generate analytics reports
