Position Overview

Analysts provide analysis and reporting services in support of LOB, pillar and Enterprise.  This group also updates, maintains, and analyzes data from various enterprise tools.  Analyst liaises with stakeholders to understand analysis and reporting needs and creates deliverables to enable the organization to meet its goals.  The detailed work includes analyzing data, numbers and creating deliverables to enable summarizing, proposing, or updating the stakeholders.  The individuals in this family should be excellent listeners, communicators (oral and written), and able to distill the key topics/components/issues from discussions.

  • Translate technical and architectural complexities of a technical solution so that project stakeholders can easily understand
  • Support the delivery of exceptional customer service that builds trust through responsive, accurate, consistent, knowledgeable and available services and support
  • Support the organization’s project management policy, practice, and methodology
  • Gathers requirements and documents these requirements for use within the project life cycle
  • Interacts with business representatives and other partners, including vendors, to ensure that requirements are accepted and well-known

  • Participates in the creation of use cases and user expected results to ensure that software is delivered to end users with zero Severity 1 or Severity 2 defects
  • Provide timely and accurate progress information to project status reports

  • Work with project stakeholders to validate their requirements and analysis models via techniques such as reviews and walkthroughs
  • Ensure system specifications meet the business unit expectations/requirements
  • Completes tasks under direction of senior team members and management
  • Accurately record and report their work efforts and uses corporate assets in a responsible manner
  • Ensure the requirements map to a real business need, are approved by all relevant stakeholders, and meet essential quality standards

Minimum Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree (in lieu of degree – 4 years of professional work experience)
    • Ability to create sufficient documentation to ensure the supportability of their analysis
    • Demonstrates applied knowledge of one or more analysis and problem decomposition techniques
    • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Demonstrates good writing and documentation skills
    • Possesses good analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Develop pricing strategy and price points for a subset of Hawaiian Airlines markets, including offline and code-share routes
  • Monitor OA fare and rule actions and implement an appropriate response to maintain competitive position in the marketplace
  • Identify need for pricing actions based on booking trends and ticketing information
  • Analyze revenue performance, market share, capacity, and competitor activity for assigned markets and create market strategies that support delivery of revenue targets
  • Coordinate with Revenue Management Analysts and Pricing Implementation team to ensure smooth execution of revenue strategies and fare actions
  • Partner with sales organization for the development of promotional campaigns
  • Stay apprised of key events and other passenger demand drivers in assigned markets
  • Interact as necessary with multiple constituents to actively achieve commcercial goals: Sales, Marketing, E-Commerce, Reservations and Alliances
  • Troubleshooting of pricing and availability issues as required

Position Overview

Under the supervision of the Manager of IT Compliance, this position will help maintain the Payment Card Industry (PCI) program. Day-to-day activities include, but are not limited to, coordinating PCI attestation activities, monitoring process owners to help ensure ongoing compliance, coordinating annual penetration tests, and managing vulnerability management remediation activities. This individual must be organized, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be able to critically analyze and problem-solve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of PCI Data Security Standards (DSS), security frameworks, industry changes, and Card Brand notifications
  • Manage day-to-day PCI program activitities
  • Assist with development of annual PCI compliance strategies
  • Coordinate PCI attestation activities (e.g., collect audit evidence, schedule walkthrough meetings, investigate potential findings, track remediation activities, etc.)
  • Represent IT Compliance during Business and IT project meetings to ensure PCI compliant actions are integrated into projects
  • Educate business owners on PCI DSS requirements

Minimum Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience or security-focused education
    • 2 years of relevant PCI experience. Candidate must have direct involvement with the maintenance, development, and/or testing of a PCI program (e.g., QSA, ISA, consulting, etc.)
    • 4 years of relevant security experience
    • PCI certification or willingness to obtain certification within first year of employment (e.g., PCI QSA or ISA)
    • Completes tasks independently/interdependently
    • Demonstrates knowledge of information security domains and general security best practices
    • Demonstrates excellent communication skills
    • Demonstrates excellent written and documentation skills
    • Displays good interviewing and facilitation skills
    • Accurately plans and manages individual work assignments

Preferred Qualifications

Position Overview

  • Create executive-level PowerPoint presentations to provide market and consumer insights to other Marketing & Sales departments
  • Be an advisor to other marketing functions as the knowledge owner for advertising data, tools, processes and insights.
  • Oversee advertising data tagging requirements, design, analysis and final user-acceptance testing working with IT in an Agile ticketing tool (JIRA)

Minimum Requirements

Position Overview

The Analyst, Payroll drives process improvements and works collaboratively with other members of the HR Ops team and support groups to ensure the timelines, efficiency and accuracy of payroll processing and associated deliverable.  The scope of responsibilities includes payroll processing for all US and foreign locations including a unionized work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees in accordance with Company policy, union contracts and federal/state regulations as well as customer service standards
  • Schedule, prepare and review payrolls worldwide on a rotating schedule of pay groups
  • Perform an analytical detail audit of payrolls processed
  • Calculate and maintain accrued payroll liabilities
  • Maintain payroll tax rates
  • Responsible for quarterly and year-end payroll reconciliations
  • Drive the continuous improvement of payroll processes with a push towards automation including system changes and enhancements
  • Develop a recurring payroll metrics dashboard for Leaders to track and measure the efficiency of payroll processes
  • Produce quarterly and year-end payroll and labor expense reporting
  • Serve as an escalation point for incoming questions and requests and support Payroll Administrator and Coordinator in responding to inquiries
  • Maintain the confidentiality, accuracy and security of payroll and time & attendance data and adhere to documented payroll process and key internal controls over financial reporting (including compliance with SOX)
  • Deliver manager and employee training throughout the Company with regards to payroll and time and attendance procedures and systems
  • Work closely with the Airport Operations – Employee Support, Treasury, Accounting and Crew Payroll
  • Create and maintain documentation of payroll team procedures and policies
  • Collaborate with the HR Ops to ensure effective integration of time & attendance data and the HRIS systems with payroll systems and processes
  • Train new employees and act as mentor to the team
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least 5 years’ experience working in Payroll or Finance, or IT
  • 1+ years Analytical functional experience
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax reporting requirements
  • Experience with vendor management
  • Ability to manage confidential information
  • Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
  • Experience with time and attendance systems
  • Strong analytical abilities, including the ability to troubleshoot problems, recognize areas for process improvements and identify and communicate trends
  • Ability to prioritize, manage time and resources effectively, adapt to rapidly changing priorities and meet required deadlines (which may occasionally require after-business hours work or weekend duty)
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong proficiency in Word and Excel
