What Will You Be Doing?

The Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) will lead a team of analysts to provide financial insights and drive strategic initiatives across all areas of the organization. The ideal FP&A Manager will bring advanced analytical and quantitative disciplines, ability to construct financial models for complex business questions, mature judgement and proactive communication.

Essential Functions

  • Identify business opportunities and drive improvement through rigorous analysis.
  • Responsible for disciplined budget and forecast, long range planning, evaluation of new and existing business, competitive benchmarking, recurring and ad-hoc deliverables, process improvement and efficiency, and talent management and development.
  • Leverage financial and operational analyses to assist in strategic decision making.
  • Lead and develop a team of high performing financial analysts, mentor them on career development, prioritize and guide projects to a timely completion, thoroughly review all deliverables for accuracy.
  • Assist with modeling the financial impact of changes to product offering, fleet strategy, route network, flight schedules, and labor strategy. Capture the entirety of financial implications across the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
  • Evaluate the company’s financial and operational performance across a broad range of metrics and Key Performance Indicators; benchmark Frontier’s performance and strategy against competing airlines and best practices to identify business or market-based opportunities.
  • Partner with key stakeholders across the organization acting as a trusted financial advisor, enhance financial awareness and offer guidance in setting business priorities.
  • Build relationships with the Accounting team to monitor actuals and identify trends arising in the financials.
  • Identify and size potential revenue and cost opportunities across the organization.
  • Conduct scenario analysis to identify optimal strategies in the face of uncertainty.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; prefer degree in Finance, Accounting, or another quantitative field
  • MBA strongly preferred
  •           Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience (corporate finance, strategy, consulting, or related fields/functions) or commensurate combination of graduate work and relevant work experience required
  • Minimum of 2 years management experience in a corporate finance setting required
  • Industry knowledge and prior airline experience is beneficial
  • Proven experience presenting information to all levels of management including C-suite

The Regional Properties Manager represents Frontier Airlines in its business with airport operators, landlords and other air carriers relative to airport development, real estate and facilities projects throughout the assigned portfolio. This position will support Frontier’s operational strategy by negotiating and administering required leases/agreements and make certain operating facilities are adequate for Frontier’s operation and in accordance to company standards. This role is also required to model financial impacts of space and airport rate changes so that Frontier may make sound operational and business decisions while leveraging available resources to minimize cost associated with real estate leases.

Essential Functions:

  • Identifies key issues and develops strategic business solutions to properties and facilities issues at assigned airports.
  • Reviews and negotiates assigned properties and facilities agreements; develops summary of salient terms and conditions; assists with compliance with terms, conditions, options and notice requirements.
  • Prepares analyses of airport rates and charges; prepares budget projections and cost distributions for assigned leasehold space; seek opportunities for increased efficiencies and improved customer service.
  • Review and evaluate short and long term airport capital improvement plans and debt service impacts to airline cost centers.
  • Negotiates with airport executives, local governments, and other airlines to achieve corporate objectives.
  • Liaises with consultants/vendors/contractors and company stakeholders to achieve properties and facilities goals, as assigned.
  • Represents company at airport affairs committee meetings at assigned airports and works to advance company’s goals.
  • Assess future schedules to determine if airport facilities will be able to accommodate Frontier’s operation and coordinate with appropriate internal departments to assess upcoming opportunities or risks which may impact operational decisions.
  • Assists with special projects as assigned.
  • Develops improved procedures for more efficient properties and facilities operations.
  • Monitors airport industry developments and channels information for review

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Legal or Business related or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in a relevant field such as Finance and Legal, with emphasis on contract negotiation, financial modeling and strategic planning
  • Departmental budget and forecasting preparation and implementation experience required
  • Airline experience preferred
  • Masters degree preferred

What Will You Be Doing?

Oversees the resources, functions and operations of the Yield Management department.

The responsibility of this position is developing, executing, and maintaining a superior information security program that promotes resiliency by identifying and mitigating cyber risks and threats for the organization. The manager will contribute to, oversee execution, and provide oversight to the direction of Frontier Airlines’ security compliance initiatives. S/he will work with IT, business, and security team members to ensure that appropriate planning, communication, and execution of activities ensure the successful delivery of the cybersecurity program. The function will include active management of key services: security operations center (MSSP) management, firewall/IDS/proxy management, security logging/monitoring, cybersecurity incident response, vulnerability & security patch management, security configuration hardening, data loss prevention, computer security incident response, threat & brand intelligence, phishing management, pen testing, and program governance.

  • Responsible for information security infrastructure including, developing strategic plans, and identifying key success factors; sets priorities and allocates the resources to achieve department and corporate goals.
  • Responsible for the ongoing and near real-time proactive monitoring, analyzing, investigating, tracking, and remediation of IT security events across the enterprise in an overall effort to minimize the potential for a breach of security or loss of data
  • Responsible for leading the monitoring of cybersecurity events (endpoints, servers, databases, network devices, mobile devices, etc.); investigate, validate, and support mitigation of alerts based on their risk and priority.
  • Provide strategic guidance for IT/Cybersecurity projects, including the evaluation and recommendation of technical controls.
  • Track project status, to ensure projects meet the approved deadlines and stay within approved budget.
  • Oversee portfolio of security projects to deliver on strategic cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Support development and dissemination of Cybersecurity training and awareness for organizational users, administrators, and developers.
  • Support the execution of data loss prevention initiatives; fostering collaboration with departments across the organization on privacy and data protection matters.
  • Manage the coordination of internal and external resources during forensic investigations.
  • Execute vulnerability management briefings, providing status updates, and direction on remediation actions to system, network, database, and application administrators.
  • Establish and maintain a set of procedures for identifying, prioritizing, implementing, and reporting security patches/configurations that resolve security exposures to the network and computing devices across the enterprise.
  • Oversee compliance hardening governance on endpoints, servers, virtual devices, network devices, databases, and applications. Conducting hardening checks of device configurations to determine version compliance and identify and mitigate weaknesses.
  • Conduct security assessments of application, network, and computing architecture before systems are placed in production.
  • Coordinate facilitation and remediation efforts for Red and Purple pen test teaming engagements.
  • Lead development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and documented security controls.
  • Develop risk metrics that measure overall cybersecurity risk exposure, and work with key stakeholders to define target thresholds, and report on results.
  • Maintain a PCI/SOX control database, inventorying control ownership, control objectives, and testing objectives.
  • Act as liaison with internal and external auditors for SOX and PCI audit concerns, facilitation of meetings, annual walkthroughs, and discussion of remediation activities for identified deficiencies.
  • Collaborate with control owners to validate effectiveness of security controls and ensure testability.
  • Oversee and drive remediation processes to address issues identified in security assessments, key financial application reviews, access control reviews, internal or external audits and/or other assessments.
  • Work closely with teams across the organization to ensure compliance with defined standards, identifying gaps and enhancing compliance.

What Will You Be Doing?

The Manager, Current Schedules leads the Current Scheduling team to develop schedules that align with anticipated demand and performance, maintains schedules that unify with operational needs and publishes the flight schedules in accordance with passenger and company goals.

Essential Functions

  • Oversee the creation and monitoring of block time databases.
  • Manage scheduling and distribution system databases.
  • Manage airport communication and gate applications.
  • Oversee the dissemination of schedules to internal passenger service systems and GDS distributors.
  • Coordinate distribution, publication timelines and communication with codeshare and alliance partners including sub-service contract administration.
  • Adjust published schedules to meet company needs and demands.
  • Regularly coordinate with Customer Service, Reservations, Crews, Maintenance, SOC, Catering, Legal, and other internal teams on schedule compliance.
  • Maintain ownership of company distributed daily plane counts.
  • Work closely with the Network Planning team to review schedule patterns and adjusting schedules to align with anticipated passenger demand and P&L performance in new and existing markets.
  • Create ad-hoc schedule scenarios to support Commercial, Financial and Operational projects and analysis.
  • Work with Sr. Manager, Future Schedules to develop a seamless schedules production calendar as well as departmental goals.
  • Train, develop, educate and promote growth of the department and individual employees with specific focus on customer service satisfaction.
  • Foster team growth and the ability of the team to focus their attention on achieving overall goals of the Scheduling team.
  • Use interpersonal skills and knowledge of scheduling to define, review, revise and implement current schedules.

What Will You Be Doing?

The General Manager of Airport Customer Service is responsible for delivering outstanding and safe operational performance, customer service and financial performance in one or more Frontier airport locations. The General Manager of Airport Customer Service is the primary Frontier representative to both the airport and business partner for the station and serves as both a liaison and representative for all customers, internal and external. The General Manager of Airport Customer Service reports directly to the Director and has regular / daily interaction with Frontier officers and directors.

  • Customer Service – Lead a team to deliver superlative customer service through engagement, motivation, coaching and leadership. Be a tireless advocate of Low Fares Done Right and effectively communicate its meaning to Frontier’s business partners and front-line teams.
  • Fiscal Responsibility – Continuously strive to lower costs through identification and elimination of inefficiencies and improvement of local contracts.

What Will You Be Doing?

As a key member of the Accounting organization, the Accounting Services Senior Manager is accountable for managing the teams responsible for transactional processing.  Transactional processing includes the disbursement of funds, reconciliation of inbound cash as well as various other revenue integrity initiatives. The Senior Manager plays a key role in managing relationships with all internal departments within Frontier as well as outside partners. The Senior Manager is responsible for providing value added direction and establishing Accounts Payable, Account Receivable and Revenue Operations as a strategic function while ensuring adherence to financial controls and procedures within the various accounting services.

Essential Functions

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies/procedures, generally accepted accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure appropriate controls are in place related to the activities of invoice processing to ensure data and distribution errors and duplicate payments are prevented.
  • Ensure appropriate controls are in place related to the activities of general receivables to ensure items are appropriately recorded and reviewed in accordance with internal policies.
  • Daily supervision of in-house accounts payable and revenue operations staff to provide direction, guidance and feedback.
  • Maintain positive relationships with vendors, ensuring invoices are paid within appropriate payment terms.
  • Maintain positive relationships with third party providers, ensuring timely delivery of data by both Frontier and the provider relative to chargebacks, fraud and other external reporting.
  • Identify and take advantage of discount terms when advantageous to the company.
  • Establish positive relationships with Supply Chain/Purchasing and other related departments to improve financial intelligence and overall business operations.
  • Act as a lead while evaluating various revenue integrity initiates including but not limited to agent audits, business initiatives and, business policy and their financial impact.
  • Develop and maintain departmental policies and procedures documentation.
  • Develop and maintain cash flow forecasting process and provide weekly to Treasury.
  • Responsible for keeping abreast of legislative changes and corresponding product and process enhancements.                  Research industry best practices.
  • Develop and maintain T&E policies and procedures and ensure compliance.
  • Identify and recommend system enhancements resulting in improved efficiencies and cost savings.
  • Compile department metrics each month and provide monthly dashboard reporting to executives.
  • Establish goals for the Accounts Payable and Revenue operations department.
  • Recommend policy changes, continuously streamline workflow and address complaints and resolve issues.

 Other Functions

  • Assist in interim, year-end audits and SOX walkthroughs/compliance.
  • Process year end 1099’s in a timely manner and in accordance with IRS rules.
  • Resolve/respond to all IRS notices related to 1099 reporting or filing discrepancies.
  • Work with the tax department to develop and maintain appropriate sales and use tax payments and reporting
  • Perform ad hoc projects as assigned

 Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of previous shared service or accounting experience in a mid- to large-size organization
  • 5-7 years of progressively increased managerial responsibility
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related discipline     required
  • MBA preferred

The Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) will lead a team of analysts to provide financial insights and drive strategic initiatives across all areas of the organization. The ideal FP&A Manager will bring advanced analytical and quantitative disciplines, ability to construct financial models for complex business questions, mature judgement and proactive communication.

  • Identify business opportunities and drive improvement through rigorous analysis.
  • Responsible for disciplined budget and forecast, long range planning, evaluation of new and existing business, competitive benchmarking, recurring and ad-hoc deliverables, process improvement and efficiency, and talent management and development.
  • Leverage financial and operational analyses to assist in strategic decision making.
  • Lead and develop a team of high performing financial analysts, mentor them on career development, prioritize and guide projects to a timely completion, thoroughly review all deliverables for accuracy.
  • Assist with modeling the financial impact of changes to product offering, fleet strategy, route network, flight schedules, and labor strategy. Capture the entirety of financial implications across the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.

The Manager of Line Maintenance oversees all line maintenance activities at the Denver Maintenance base. Coordinates activities between Station Operations, Flight Ops, Flight dispatch, MCC and Inspection departments.

What Will You Be Doing?

The Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting will be responsible for leading the daily operations of the corporate accounting team, including month-end close, analyzing and reporting results to Accounting and Finance leadership and key business stakeholders in an accurate and timely manner, identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities, managing and developing the corporate accounting team and building and maintaining strong relationships with other leaders in the organization to help further develop a productive and collaborative environment.   • Lead the daily operations of the corporate accounting team, including month-end close. Oversight of the month-end close process includes supporting team members as questions are identified and actively tracking and communicating status to ensure deadlines are met.

  • Work proactively and effectively with financial reporting, internal audit, finance, treasury and other departments within the organization to help further develop a productive and collaborative environment.

The Manager, Ancillary oversees the staff, activities and resources of the Analytics and Ancillary Pricing team and reports to the Director of Ancillary and Revenue Analytics. The manager and his/her team are responsible for managing and developing quantitative analysis for fares, working with Pricing and Revenue Management, and direct management of ancillary prices.

  • Develop/participate in analytical report development with PRM team to maintain competitive advantage

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Finance, Aviation Management or related analytical field required; combination of education and relevant experience considered in lieu of degree requirement
  • 3+ years of experience in pricing or similar field, with experience in machine learning in pricing strongly preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in airline analytics, ancillary revenue, pricing, revenue management, and/or finance

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of airline commercial metrics, economics, network design and revenue principles
  • Master Excel user and willing to learn/navigate Navitaire APO Module
  • General SQL knowledge
  • Excellent analytical and intuitive revenue analysis / forecasting skills
  • Ability to efficiently summarize and report on company revenue production
  • Ability to quickly identify revenue improvement opportunities
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Familiarity with airline operations and management principles preferred
  • Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
