Essential Functions

Talent Acquisition

  • With the leaders of each of the recruiting functions, define and implement recruiting strategies that help to attract and hire high caliber talent while meeting the recruiting goals of the company
  • Own the employment brand and Employee Value Proposition for Frontier, working with the VP of Human Resources and the Marketing team to ensure that the Frontier brand attracts high caliber talent
  • Leverage social media, Frontier’s careers site and other online recruiting channels to develop and maintain a strong candidate pipeline
  • Manage, leverage, and challenge existing recruiting strategies, methods, and systems to generate a proactive and efficient approach to improving the quality of candidates and time to hire.
  • Identify opportunities to increase the diversity of the candidate pool by partnering with internal and external organizations that support the company’s diversity, equity and inclusion efforts.
  • Develop innovative and efficient sourcing strategies for hiring quality candidates
  • Lead a team of recruiters, recruiting specialists and coordinators that is responsible for managing their own requisitions and searches.
  • Manage external recruiting resources including Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO), executive search agencies, staffing agencies and independent recruiting contractors.
  • Develop relations with industry related schools, relevant organizations to attract and hire for entry level positions.
  • Identify and track key metrics for the recruiting team and share with HR and company leadership.
  • Represent Frontier Airlines at recruitment events, including delivery of recruitment presentations
  • For selected roles, manage full life cycle recruiting process from specification through the employment offer for Frontier Airlines opportunities within specific departments, ensuring a smooth process for candidates and new hires throughout the recruiting process.
  • Consult with hiring managers on recruiting process, strategy and expectations, looking for opportunities for process improvement.

Talent Development

  • Define and implement the strategy for professional development for the company, creating multiple opportunities for individuals to grow and sustain their professional skill sets aligned with Frontier’s Leadership Principles
  • Ensure that all candidates have a positive first experience with the company by creating an innovative and efficient onboarding process including badging, new hire paperwork and electronic document retention
  • Leverage internal and external resources to build a library of learning opportunities available for leaders at all levels to grow their professional skill set
  • Review and report on key metrics related to talent development including turnover, participation, employee engagement, exit interviews, stay interviews; refine the learning strategies as needed to improve on key metrics
  • Work with other key leaders in HR to support the company’s succession planning, talent review and workforce planning activities to ensure that the company has talent in place, ready to take on new assignments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 6-9 years of experience in Human Resources, with an emphasis on Recruiting and Training
  • At least four (4) years of experience managing high functioning teams
  • Experience in a high-volume recruiting environment desirable
  • Experience in best-in-class learning cultures desirable
  • Experience in implementing innovative learning solutions desirable
  • Experience with learning management systems desirable

  • Labor Relations experience including negotiations and dispute resolution. experience

  • Represent Frontier Airlines at recruitment events, including delivery of recruitment presentations
  • For selected roles, manage full life cycle recruiting process from specification through the employment offer for Frontier Airlines opportunities within specific departments, ensuring a smooth process for candidates and new hires throughout the recruiting process.
  • Consult with hiring managers on recruiting process, strategy and expectations, looking for opportunities for process improvement.
  • Develop an effective pipeline of key talent potentially available for immediate hire as succession planning needs dictate.
  • Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques to attract and compete for top talent in the market.

Talent Development

  • Define and implement the strategy for professional development for the company, creating multiple opportunities for individuals to grow and sustain their professional skill sets aligned with Frontier’s Leadership Principles
  • Ensure that all candidates have a positive first experience with the company by creating an innovative and efficient onboarding process including badging, new hire paperwork and electronic document retention
  • Leverage internal and external resources to build a library of learning opportunities available for leaders at all levels to grow their professional skill set
  • Review and report on key metrics related to talent development including turnover, participation, employee engagement, exit interviews, stay interviews; refine the learning strategies as needed to improve on key metrics
  • Work with other key leaders in HR to support the company’s succession planning, talent review and workforce planning activities to ensure that the company has talent in place, ready to take on new assignments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 6-9 years of experience in Human Resources, with an emphasis on Recruiting and Training
  • At least four (4) years of experience managing high functioning teams
  • Experience in a high-volume recruiting environment desirable
  • Experience in best-in-class learning cultures desirable
  • Experience in implementing innovative learning solutions desirable
  • Experience with learning management systems desirable
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems highly desirable

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • High level of knowledge in the area of equal employment opportunity law and governmental regulations in the employment arena
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact and influence all levels of management and non-management employees
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office software products including Word, Excel, Teams and Power Point
  • Familiarity with computerized human resource information systems
  • Demonstrates passion for people, talent and fun
