    What the position is
    The Maintenance Supervisor oversees and efficiently directs all line and/or heavy maintenance activity on company aircraft, support equipment, and facilities.
    Essential functions:
    • Supervises the implementation of long and short-range planning for either Line or Heavy maintenance planning, programs, objectives, and policies.
    • Implements procedures for maintaining high standards of Line or Heavy aircraft maintenance operations to ensure aircraft conform to all FAA, CommutAir Maintenance Program, and manufacturers’ quality standards.
    • Manage headcount requirements as determined by Line or Heavy Maintenance Manager.
    • Assist Line or Heavy Maintenance Manager in the management of maintenance operations annual budget for his location.
    • Identify, develop, recommend and implement changes to improve productivity and reduce cost, rework and scrap at his location.
    • Supervise and monitor either Line or Heavy maintenance at his location to ensure goals of the Maintenance Operations organization’s annual plan are on target.
    • Act as a liaison for his location between internal and external department leaders to ensure proper communications of decisions and policy changes that affect their performance and results.
    • Train, develop, and evaluate employees at his location. Take corrective actions as necessary in a timely manner within company policy to address any deficiencies in performance. Ensure compliance with all current federal, state, local, and company labor requirements.
    • Coordinate the implementation of facility projects (e.g. Hangar/Shop layouts, installation of capital equipment, major repairs, etc.)
    • Other duties as assigned
     General requirements & qualifications:
    • BA/BS in Aviation, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related discipline desired.
    • 2+ years of experience in aviation management or 4+ years of aviation management experience with no BA/BS degree as stated above.
    • Preferred experience is with an airline or aircraft MRO with responsibilities for leading a workforce of 25+ employees.
    • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
    • Valid Passport and Driver’s license in good standing
    • Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification
    • Experienced in the Coaching and Counseling Process
    • Proven record of team building and development of assigned technicians
    Salary:
    •  $65,000-78,000/ annually
    •   Up to $5,000 in relocation reimbursement

    What the position is
    The Inflight Supervisor will support the Inflight Manager and will collaborate with other departments to ensure the highest level of safety, efficiency, and overall success of the Company.  Monitor the overall performance of a team of flight attendants, and provide guidance and leadership while supporting departmental goals.
    Essential functions:
    • Complete CommutAir’s Inflight Flight Attendant Training Program and maintain FA license if not currently qualified
    • Perform appearance checks to ensure compliance with uniform guidelines
    • Perform Flight Attendant Manual checks
    • Ensure compliance with all FAA regulatory requirements as well as CommutAir’s established policies and procedures
    • Maintain Flight Attendant V-Files and stock supplies
    • Conduct concourse duties to support corporate goals
    • Monitor flight attendant showtimes
    • Responsible for tracking attendance, issuing discipline, and issuing disciplinary action forms
    • Handle sensitive situations with confidentiality, and understanding
    • Track and investigate delays daily and report to management
    • Ability to sit, stand and move throughout office/airport for extended periods
    • Provide recognition and counseling of flight attendants who demonstrate outstanding performance focusing on customer service and hold the team accountable when service expectations are not met
    • Work closely with the Inflight Manager to establish an overall operation strategy for the Inflight department
    • Improve customer service ratings through coaching sessions and mentoring
    • Perform additional duties as delegated by the Inflight Manager to achieve Company objectives
     General requirements & qualifications:
    • Able to independently use MS Office, Excel, and Word products and other technology packages

    What the position is
    The Crew Scheduling Supervisor must have a detailed working knowledge of the applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR’s), Crew Member Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs), Company crew scheduling procedures and policies, excellent communication skills, leadership skills, and the ability to work with all levels of management.  The position reports to the Senior Manager of Crew Scheduling.
    Essential functions:
    • Guide, supervise, empower and develop the skills and abilities of all crew scheduling employees
    • Ensure crewmember assignments are in accordance with the applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR’s) and Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs); to include qualifications and international rules
    • Maintain and monitor the day-to-day operations, including crew staffing and legality concerns
    • Provide on-the-job training for new employees within the department; training to include FARs, CBAs, as well as department and organizational policies and procedures
    • Hire, discipline, and offer termination recommendations
    • Responsible for all Crew Scheduling employees schedule and payroll, including:
      • Evaluating PTO, shift trades, and sick time
      • Management of department coverage concerns and overtime
      • Ensure employees abide by Crew Scheduling, Crew Travel, and Crew Payroll policies and procedures
    • Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all data within the Crew Scheduling system
    • Ability to provide constructive feedback and solutions to leadership
    • Conduct system audits to ensure departmental processes and procedures meet quality assurance and compliance standards
    • Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Crew Scheduling
    • Assist with all phases and testing within Crew Scheduling platforms and systems
    • Interface with other departments to adequately plan and coordinate assignments for crew members for all scheduled, chartered, and ad-hoc flights
    • Evaluate, process, and communicate all non-routine requests received by other business departments
    • Provide a verbal and written operations summary and pass it down to the following crew-scheduling shift and leadership if needed
    • Conduct investigations on crew scheduling processes as needed or requested
    • Complete delegated projects from leadership to include audits, data trending, and other needs from business requirements
    • Other duties as assigned
     General requirements & qualifications:
    • Minimum two (2) years of experience in a Crew Scheduling role, preferably in a Supervisory capacity
    • Professional demeanor with the ability to function in a high-stress environment
    • Must have the availability to work varying shift work including graveyards, weekends, and holidays
    • Must possess strong leadership skills to support the Crew Scheduling team and SOC environment
    • Complete understanding of the applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR’s)
    • Ability to work independently, problem-solve, and think outside of the box
    • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Access, MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint
    • Experience with tracking, trending, and reporting data to leadership and other business partners

    What the position is
    The Material Stores Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of all stock clerks in support of the assigned base’s aircraft maintenance activity. The Supervisor establishes work schedules and ensures adequate shift coverage for a 24 x 7 store operation. The Supervisor is generally on duty during the swing shift period Monday through Friday but will adjust his/her schedule as the operation, training, and shift coverage dictates. The Supervisor coordinates with the Manager Inventory Control and the Manager Material Systems to generate cycle count sheets and ensure that all counts are completed and reconciled daily.
    Essential functions:
    • Provide hands-on supervision to Stores personnel including training, employee development, reviews, counseling, and disciplinary action
    • Participates with the Manager in the stores’ clerk interview and hiring process
    • Oversees the assignment and timely completion of the daily cycle counting program discrepancy resolution, root cause analysis, and defect elimination
    • Establishes daily department workloads in support of Dept. Manager objectives
    • Ensures a productive and safe working environment for departmental personnel
    • Oversee the routing and communications of all aircraft parts movements including AOG
    • Maintains proper, secure, and efficient inventory storage facilities and procedures
    • Oversees the prompt shipping of unserviceable rotatable components to repair service providers
    • Ensure that Stores practices meet Company objectives and are consistently reviewed for cost criteria and savings opportunities
    • Coordinate with the Training Department to develop departmental training programs and ensure training needs are accomplished
    • Designated training instructor for forklift operation and hazmat/dangerous goods shipping
    • Oversee the Tool Management Program
    • Ensure departmental compliance regarding FAA regulations, hazardous materials handling/training, OSHA regulations, and Company policies and procedures
    • Coordinate with Receiving Inspection and Quality Assurance to maintain an uninterrupted flow of parts through the shipping and receiving process
    • Work in tandem with the other Materials and Sourcing Department Managers to improve processes and eliminate waste
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    • Previous inventory control experience, preferably in an airline operation
    • Demonstrated supervisory ability
    • In-depth knowledge in Dangerous Goods/HazMat shipping and handling processes

    Maintenance Control Supervisors are responsible for monitoring all maintenance activity outside of Heavy maintenance.
    Essential functions:
    • Supervises maintenance control work processes, coordinating between all departments and outside contract agencies
    • Input & update required data into the computer system
    • Monitor all open deferred items on a continuous basis and plan for completion/closure
    • Sets priorities and maintains continuing effort to clear MEL/CDL’s per deferral guidelines
    • Monitors maintenance status of all in-service aircraft and coordinates maintenance activity when an aircraft has a discrepancy

    • Execute or assist maintenance controllers in completion of required paperwork and forms in accordance with Company policies and procedures
    • Notifying the appropriate Inspection personnel whenever an RII is identified during maintenance procedures
