The Maintenance Base Manager supports the daily activities of Airline Maintenance Organization (AMO) resources to ensure the successful execution of all aircraft
maintenance programs.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate and support the activities of frontline personnel within the Airline Maintenance Organization which include but are not limited to:
- Ensure all aircraft maintenance is accomplished in accordance with the policies and procedures contained in company manuals, FAA regulations, and industry best practices
- Maintain adequate facilities, equipment, and personnel to accomplish all goals and initiatives
- Engage frontline personnel to ensure effective communication and to provide opportunities for feedback
- Assist in the continuous development and administration of training
- Support compliance with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules and FAA regulations
- Participate in departmental meetings as assigned
- Create and maintain a working environment for employee group consistent with company culture
- Serve as the Hyannis Airport ID/Company Badge Coordinator
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current A&P certificate required
- Minimum of three years of experience as the responsible person for returning aircraft to service required
- Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skills required
- Previous experience in a Management or Supervisory capacity preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software suite
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
- Must hold a valid US driver’s license
- Must have a flexible schedule and be able to travel, work any shift including nights, weekends and holidays
