      • Oversee the parts and material logistics as well as inventory order control at all bases;
      • Ensure policies and procedures are enforced and communicated to all staff, e.g. Dangerous Goods Regulations, Safety, and Uniform Policies;
      • Be responsible for acceptance of aeronautical products for proper certification and traceability;
      • Provide guidance and assistance to Stores personnel for Human Resources and Payroll issues;
      • Assume special projects and duties assigned by Manager Purchasing & Stores relevant to overall Stores operations, ensuring that these duties and projects are followed up and completed by Stores staff;
      • Liaise with Manager Maintenance Base to provide proper stores and material support relevant to their respective base of operation;
      • Be “on-call” and available, as required, for support of operational requirements;
      • Maintain security in Stores controlled areas and limit access to only authorized

    • Responsible for providing the oversight to development and delivery of QA and SMS for the customer facing group (Station Agents, Cargo Agents and Airport Operations);
    • Conduct random audits as part of the audit program, as requested by the Director or the Manager;
    • In conjunction with the Manager, Training & Standards, participate in the implementation, monitoring and standardization of existing and new training materials
    • for the customer facing groups;
    • In conjunction with the Manager and Director, establish training curriculum to ensure compliance with all legislated requirements including Transport Canada, Transportation Security;
    • Set training standards and achieve goals and objectives as set forth by Canadian North’s standards, policies and procedures;
    • Ensure consistency of quality training by instructors;
    • Responsible for training schedules and scheduling training for Airport, Northern Stations, and Cargo Agents;
    • Participate in the planning and implementation of new products and services;
    • Act as an alternate Security Officer and assist with the APO program, Transportation Security Agency “No Fly List” and Transport Canada’s Passenger Protect Program;
    • Perform duties for Emergency Response HQ Customer Relations Team Leader as an alternate;
    • In conjunction with the Revenue Management department, develop and implement Sabre enhancements, attend Conferences;
    • Responsible to review audit findings and observations to ensure training programs are effective and SOP’s are being maintained;
    • Recommends and/or develops updates or new policies and procedures for Airport, Station Agents, and Cargo Agents;
    • Responsible as an administrator for the WorldTracer product
    • Conduct an annual review with the instructors of all the manuals and training programs;
    • Participate in the annual budget process for training department;
    • Enhance our online training;
    • Take the lead in SumTotal as our Learning Management System (LMS);
    • Take the lead in supporting our company Intranet for Commercial Operations, Sharepoint;
