Position Summary
At Breeze, delivering a seamless digital travel experience for our Guests is a crucial aspect of our fast-growing airline. The Product Analyst Intern is an essential Team Member who will identify opportunities and contribute to the shaping of our product strategy.
As an ideal candidate, they will sit on our Product Management team and contribute to the development of product roadmaps, vision, direction, and strategy for all upcoming features. They will work in tandem with Breeze’s Product Management Senior Manager and data architects, business intelligence specialists, and other subject matter experts to analyze product usage data, identify opportunities for new or improved functionality, promote successful development of new ideas, and be a champion for an unrivaled Guest Experience.
Additionally, they must be a next level team player working to develop their capabilities for managing relationships, influencing Team Members across a variety of organizational functions, and executive messaging.
Essential Functions
- Conduct analysis of product usage to identify opportunities to contribute to our long-term strategy, vision, roadmap, and priorities for application integrations
- Follow daily and bi-weekly prioritization events for the development team
- Develop test hypotheses and experiment plans that attempt to disprove hypotheses
- Obtain datasets for product analysis
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research into our Guest Experience, with potential opportunities for in-person, in-field research in Breeze destination cities
- Collect a wide variety of data to inform product direction, whether in the form of competitive intel, Guest behavior, or other business metrics
- Partner with product managers to elaborate concise business requirements, user stories, and feature definitions
- In collaboration with product managers, create content to communicate about research findings, new features, and other product strategy (primary audiences include Team Members from other departments and executive leadership)
- Perform occasional administrative tasks such as research trip planning and preparations, team event organization, and expense reporting
- Positively contribute to the Information Systems team culture and vision—bring new ideas and emerging thinking each day
- Achieve performance measures and adhere to established standards in conjunction with Breeze Aviation Group Values of Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity, and Excellence
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent educational achievement
- Working towards a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Strategy, Innovation, or a related field
- Strong data analysis skills and critical thinking capabilities
- High performance orientation, ability to work well under pressure, prioritize projects, meet deadlines, and maintain flexibility
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
- Self-starter must have a positive attitude and strong desire for success
- Complete projects on time with minimal supervision, ability to work varied hours when necessary to meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Training or certification including Agile Methodology or Product Management
- An interest in aviation and travel
