  • The Manager of Human Performance is responsible for supporting and assisting in the development and implementation of a framework and systems to facilitate the integration of Human Performance in Americans Safety Management Systems.   • Critical for this role is the ability to assist the Managers in Safety Science and System Design in engaging business leaders, regulatory and union stakeholders.

  • Supports post-event follow up and investigations by developing and applying HP subject matter expertise through a scientifically driven methodology.
  • Develops and drives implementation of an HP framework in accordance with the guidance contained in Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and Advisory Circulars.
  • Coordinates and provides HP analysis and guidance for risk assessments, business and procedural changes, design and procurement of equipment, and operational communications to staff
  • Develops and supports the delivery and maintenance of human factors-specific training content to ensure Crewmembers possess the competencies appropriate with their role in Americans SMS.
  • Assists in providing safety data input to various other work streams and processes including safety review boards
  • Prepares safety reports and studies for all levels in the organization that are associated with human factors specialist topics

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation, Psychology, Human Factors, Neuroscience, or a related field
  • 5 years of related experience
  • 3 years of experience in an aviation safety-related role within an aviation organization or related organization

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Masters, Graduate-level coursework in aviation, aviation safety, or a related field
  • 5 years of relevant aviation industry experience in similar airline roles, where Human Factors is a Two (2) years relevant experience in a role with demonstrated applied Human Factors expertise
  • Formal safety management training, accident investigation training, or prior management experience working within a 14 CFR Part 121 safety program
  • Experience in aviation operations (FAA certificated Pilot, A&P, Dispatcher and/or work experience in an operational role at a Part 121 air carrier or aircraft OEM)
  • Knowledge of airline maintenance, flight operations, dispatch, cabin operations, ground operations and commercial aviation regulations desired
  • Knowledge of aviation reporting systems, safety principles, and Just Culture

  • Manage all aspects of our broad-based compensation program (job leveling, salary structure, merit review, corporate policies, budget, salary surveys, and market research)
  • Builds consultative and collaborative relationships with internal client groups to support business strategy, and ensure equitable and competitive compensation practices
  • Partners with the broader People team and leadership in the design, development and implementation of compensation programs and policies
  • Create and present comprehensive analysis to assess compensation issues in the business and provides market competitive and business specific solutions using peer and external market data sources
  • Effectively collaborates with different areas of the People organization including our Talent Acquisition, Compliance, People Business Partners to manage, consult, and resolve compensation issues.Participates in various business projects as required
  • Provides guidance to the business and develops creative solutions on a variety of total compensation issues.Gives appropriate advice to ensure the integrity of job leveling, pay grade, and pay ranges
  • Represents the team in cross-functional meetings, providing backup coverage for leaders or team members as applicable
  • Collaborates closely with other comp team members to share knowledge and creative solutions to ensure consistent advice to the business

All you’ll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or other related field or equivalent related experience
  • 7 years relevant work experience with at least 3 years in a compensation/analytical role
  • 3 years experience with complex project management

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • CCP, PHR, SPHR Certification

• Ensures the online banking channel is designed with the right functionality and features to move our business forward and support the strategic objectives of the credit union, coordination with the Marketing website team on the same

    What you’ll do

    • Drafts content for an array of audiences and platforms, aimed at communicating our values and actions to team members, the communities we serve and other stakeholders
    • Assists the Managing Director of Corporate Communications in developing and executing short and long-term communications plans in a dynamic environment
    • Manages national, local and trade media inquiries, as well as key stakeholder engagement
    • Supports rapid response communications related to area of focus, including unpredictable and fast-moving issues with tight deadlines

    Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in communications or relevant field, or equivalent experience/training
    • 5 years relevant work experience in communications or public relations in a corporate, governmental or agency setting

    • Must have excellent time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects at the same time and meet tight deadlines effectively, efficiently and independently
    • Team player with ability to work successfully at all levels of the organization, including senior leadership

    • In this role, you will lead a team, internal creative teams and external agency partners in brand & creative strategies (both paid & owned channels) that will drive customer engagement and passion for the American Airlines brand. Work closely with teams across American to build organizational alignment on brand strategy and adherence to guidelines.     • Lead the development of brand and product positioning in advertising & creative communications.

    • Provide team leadership, support and development.
    • Oversee brand licensing relationship, including reviewing opportunities, attending quarterly business reviews and driving forward licensing strategy to drive incremental revenue.
    • Continually manage all internal creative processes & tools including casting database, Brand Center, photo/video library assets & usage rights and self-service creative platforms.
    • Manage all aspects of photo & video production in an airport operational environment, including fostering airport relationships, developing detailed schedules and maintaining a flexible / adaptable mindset.
