  • Providing verbal coaching to employees related to their performance
  • Providing verbal and/or written input to management regarding the overall or individual employee performance of the workforce within their work area
  • Temporarily resolving extreme personnel emergencies when management is not present or available, to include sending employees home pending management investigation and action
  • Performing reasonable and customary administrative duties
  • Premium Customer Services instruction and training of employees
  • Resolving customer complaints and performing any other airport work where so directed
  • The supervisor and administrative responsibilities of PCSCs listed above are also performed by other Company employees
  • The PCSC may serve as the primary manager delegate and shares responsibility for the overall performance of the department in conjunction with the department leader
  • The Premium Customer Services Group is responsible for servicing premium customers (ConciergeKey, Five Star Service, Executive Services and International Premium) and lounge guests at Admirals Club lounges, Flagship Lounges, Flagship Check-In locations, business centers or other areas within the airports established to service the Company’s premium customers

  • Interprets and executes knowledge of working agreements for APA, APFA and FARS

  • Provides frontline guidance and coaching to the tracking staff
  • Delegates work assignments as necessary

  • This job is a member of the Maintenance Operations Control Team within the Integrated Operations Division. This position will be responsible for providing operational support for the Maintenance Operations Control (MOC) department. The MOC Coordinators are individual contributors and work solo most of the time, supporting the MOC Operation and team. The coordinator position is staffed 24/7 and work a 4-on, 4-off, 12-hour shifts schedule. Position may be primarily nights or days and are subject to change.

They deal with union contractual obligations so must learn and understand the contract and how it affects the business decisions that they must make to perform their job.

  • Monitor, log and track spotting messages
  • Timekeeping: Payroll and scheduling in Workbrain and Excel
  • Training reports/qualifications and scheduling training classes for Maintenance Control Technicians (MCT)
  • Update significant event tracking form
  • Receive and process sick calls for MOC
  • Call Overtime and Field Trips for MOC
  • Book travel and hotels for maintenance field trips or ferry flight
  • Manages Maintenance Control Technician (MCT) schedules
  • Coordinate and process MCT schedule and vacation annual bids
  • Ensure compliance for training for MOC employees by scheduling and auditing training records
  • Process invoices, working with vendors and MOC Management to resolve billing issues
  • Maintain vendor contract information to ensure billing and pricing are correct
  • Track and monitor grievance process for MOC
  • Maintain and process onboarding and exit checklists for employees
  • Schedule and coordinate MOC interviews
  • Telephone and email coverage
  • Update and distribute Overtime report
  • Notify team members of required drug and alcohol testing
  • Compile daily turnover report and supply to following shift to ensure resolution for outstanding issues

The ISC is the final security authority in authorizing acceptance of customers and baggage in compliance with US TSA and host state regulations.

What you’ll do

• The ISC is a direct report to the Station GM
• ISC must report all security incidents to SOC in compliance with the AOSSP and applicable SDs
• Attendance reviews / performance reviews
• Responsible for the oversight of the station monthly quality assurance programme
• Report any compliance issues by compiling security action plan and providing updates accordingly
• Responsible for monitoring the performance of contracted security staff
• Implementing security procedures in line with the TSA and ISP security requirements
• Preparing and conducting agent briefings and daily assignments
• Ensuring baggage reconciliation completed in accordance to TSA and ISP procedures
• Ensuring proper storage of equipment upon completion of the operation
• Liaison officer with contractors
• Administrative duties as well as statistical work for all security related matters
• Makes decisions towards the daily operation but always under consideration of applicable rules, procedures and policies
• Responsible for security in all non-airport locations AA uses, such as flight crew hotel and sales offices
• Liaises with TSA, local police, and airport security on a regular basis
• Takes overall responsibility for all security aspects at the station
• The ISC is the senior security authority for International flights and ultimately responsible for the implementation of all International Security Procedures.
• Security of all AA flights and AA airport facilities at foreign locations and recommendations for the security of all off-airport facilities.  The ISC will be responsible for the periodic briefing of all non-airport personnel on security awareness, suspicious behavior, reporting procedures, etc.
• Assuring the training of the security staff to include basic training (before and after Flagship University) and local continuous training as required by this manual.
• Administration matters, including personnel procedures in accordance with AA Regs.
• Final authority in deciding whether passengers, baggage and/or cargo are allowed to be boarded onto the aircraft.
• Jointly with SOC, the authority to delay or refuse to permit aircraft to depart because of security problems.  If SOC cannot be contacted and time is critical, the ISC will make the decision.
• Development and updating of the ‘Station Profile’.  At new stations, a station profile must be developed within 90 days of start-up.  Copies must be forwarded to the RSM.  One copy must be kept by the ISC.  These will be updated periodically as operational changes occur.
• Provide flight crew briefings as required.
• Submit monthly reports to HDQ and Regional Security Office where applicable.
• Twice annually contact hotel security in locations where crews overnight.
• Ensures that all relevant flight information in conveyed to security employees and that security procedures are observed.

The position is located at our London Heathrow (LHR) operations. You will support the operational integrity of all cabin cleaning/dressing and supply ordering while maintaining a safe and efficient operation.  You will also be expected to comprehend all areas of the cabin appearance manual and work flexibly across all functions of the department.

What you’ll do

  • Conduct quality assurance checks on all aircraft to ensure the required standard of service has been met for the Cabin Appearance Manual (CAM)
  • Conduct Intelex audits and required audits monthly
  • Ensure all contractors are following American Airlines health and safety procedures including a monthly health and safety observation to corporate standards
  • Allocate service level requirements on a daily flight arrivals basis and communicate to the Business Partner (BP) the daily work requirement
  • Ensure the bill of work (BOW) is accomplished in the cabin website
  • Report non-compliance issues to the local American Airlines management team
  • Ensure the lavatory and water sterilization reports are sent monthly for compliance
  • Liaise with the APHCC department to co-ordinate efforts to service minimum ground time aircraft, equipment changes, and off schedule operations (OSO) etc.
  • Ensure that all international security program (ISP) search procedures are carried out correctly by BP agents
  • Ensure the BP completes all processes regarding ground time for aircraft within the ground objective time
  • Maintain close co-operation with BP management and work together to enhance service provided across the operation. This includes attending weekly meetings with BP Terminal 3 Manager and monthly meetings with BP and AA local management
  • Compile monthly reports of operation and distributing to relevant parties
  • Maintain records of all incoming AFARS reports, following up on complaints with the contract operation manager to ensure rectification of issues
  • Ensure order of required stock for aircraft service on a weekly basis, in a timely manner and work closely with BP stores personnel to ensure sufficient stock is on station. This includes communication with Cabin Services Management in the U.S. to maintain required stock levels for items that need to be shipped in by means other than through main source and answering queries and correspondence in relation to stock matters
  • Ensure that required laundry service is maintained and adequate supplies are available
  • Tackle any issues relating to stock or supplies to ensure that the best possible service is available to our customers
  • Work with BP to avoid incurring unnecessary delays. In the event of a service failure which results in a delayed departure, ensure a report is available in a timely manner, and that action is taken to avoid a similar occurrence in the future
  • Communicate effectively with Cabin Services assigned Duty Manager and other American Airlines departments
  • Liaise with Maintenance Department and make up ‘Grab and Go’ and ‘Ancillary’ kits to ensure that an adequate number are available on station for use on aircraft
  • Ensure that all ‘Customer Services Advisories’ are implemented where relevant
  • Ensure aircraft billings are checked and correct for the auditing/invoicing teams

  • Perform advanced HR support daily managing, assigning and responding to team members for needs related to Ethics Point, Accommodation, Work Brain, or general inquiries into the email inbox
  • Support projects, initiatives and events by coordinating process and logistics with thoughtful, proactive planning, effective communication, collaboration, and follow up
  • Partner closely with other teams in regard to case management and assignment, ad-hoc data reports/analysis, accommodations, attendance, tracking and other HR department needs

All you’ll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or minimum of 3+ years’ experience supporting HR initiatives and functions
  • 2+ Years of relevant work experience in Human Resources and/or Coordinator type role

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Experience working as a coordinator or project manager in HR-related functions
  • Knowledge of HR process and procedures for investigations, accommodations, and testing
  • Experience in EthicsPoint, WorkBrain, SharePoint, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office tools

  • Highly self-motivated and self-directed; responds quickly and follows-up in a timely manner
  • Exceptional project management skills; ability to take the initiative, anticipate and solve problems
  • Ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously with ease
